United Way is currently looking for volunteers to review community programs on Thursday, March 25.

Volunteers can choose a focus area to review in and will be placed on a panel to review 4 programs.

Bernicks Family Foundation Supports Imagination Library!
Bernicks Family Foundation recently awarded United Way of West Central Minnesota with a $12,000 grant to support the expansion of Imagination Library. Imagination Library is a United Way program promoting school success by providing children ages birth to 5 with one hard cover book a month mailed to their home in their name. Imagination Library currently reaches 2200 children in West Central Minnesota and is working to promote literacy, family time & school readiness.

On Tuesday, November 17th all donations made to United Way of West Central Minnesota through GiveMN.org will be matched! GIVE TO THE MAX DAY will match dollar for dollar up to $500,000 contributed through the website within the 24 hour period of November 17th.

GiveMN is an online resource created by the Minnesota Community Foundation, Greater Twin Cities United Way, Blandin Foundation and other strong philanthropic partners of Minnesota.

United Way partners with Sports Illustrated for Kids for the Sports Kids of the Year!
United Way and SI Kids are joining together to celebrate kids who exemplify athletic and academic excellence, civic engagement and sportsmanship through the SportsKids of the Year! The winner will be on the cover of SI Kids, participate with Sports Illustrated events and receive a specially made jacket.
